Elrod’s Cost Plus Invites Dallas Residents

To Donate To The Dallas ISD Field Trip Fund

Fundraiser aims to provide transportation for local students to experience life changing educational field trips

DALLAS Wednesday, July 19th, 2017: Elrod’s Cost Plus, Post and P&G have teamed up once again to help deserving students start the new school year off right.

From July 19th through Sunday, August 31st, shoppers can visit any Dallas Elrod’s Cost Plus to donate at checkout. Suggested donation is $1, but all donations will be excepted. The fundraiser aims to support as many field trips as possible. Last year with your help we raised enough to support 15 Dallas schools.  

Dallas ISD Partnership Coordinator, Veena Armstrong said, businesses such as Elrod’s Cost Plus make Dallas ISD great.  “Our partnership with Elrod’s Cost Plus and the field trip funds raised will allow our teachers to impact student achievement and enhance classroom learning through real world learning experiences,” said Armstrong.

The fundraiser presents the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged students to help them maximize their learning potential.

The program will benefit Dallas ISD students.
